Pay For Performance Rewards Announced

Yesterday, the state announced state employee Pay-for-Performance “rewards” for the 2017-2018 performance cycle.

Employees with performance ratings of valued, advanced, or outstanding will receive a 3.5 percentage increase in their base salary.

Additionally, state employees rated advanced or outstanding will receive a one-time bonus, in an amount determined by a percentage of their base pay; 1 percent for advanced, 3 percent for outstanding.

These P4P increases for TEAM Act employees are effective Jan. 1, 2019.

TSEA thanks the members of the TN General Assembly, Gov. Bill Haslam, and DOHR for continuing to invest in our great state employees.

As a reminder, non-TEAM Act employees (Higher Ed and others) are on different schedules and structures for pay increases and therefore are not a part of these rewards.

If you have questions about these pay-for-performance increases, please contact the TSEA office at 615-256-4533 or 800-251-8732.
