Chancellor Young rules state must release public records on Fall Creek Falls privatization effort

Haslam appointee Chancellor Bill Young ruled this week that the state must publically release records associated with the unsuccessful privatization effort at Fall Creek Falls. The ruling came out of a lawsuit filed by the Nashville Scene in early June under the Open Records Act after the Department of General Services refused to release the records. TDGS claimed they were not required to release the records since no bids were ever evaluated.
