TSEA is aware of changes made to your overtime provisions. We have been in communication with numerous Department of Human Resources (DOHR) and departmental officials. TSEA has expressed grave concerns about the timing of these changes. As more details and possible adjustments are announced we will keep you updated.  

Please continue to share information you receive with TSEA. Be aware that each department can adopt their own policies regarding overtime. Such polices must be reviewed by DOHR.  

We are aware of the decision below from the Department of Children’s Services.  

DOHR has approved the following exceptions for DCS as it relates to the new overtime rules:  

CM3 – comp
CM4 – comp  

DCS Officer – cash or comp
DCS Corporal – cash or comp
DCS Sergeant – cash or comp
DCS Lieutenant – comp  

CM2s will remain comp eligible.
