About the Facilitator:
Dr. Jackie Gilbert, Professor of Management, Fellow, U.S. Academy on U.S. Bullying, Mobbing, and Abuse, Jones College of Business, MTSU.
Dr. Gilbert has served for nineteen years as Professor of Management at Middle Tennessee State University. She has appeared in local and national radio shows, e.g., Game On® Business Talk Radio | VoiceAmerica™, magazines, press releases, and articles, which include: The Tennessean, Men’s Health, and Forbes.
As a member of Tennessee Healthy Workplace Advocates, Dr. Gilbert has worked with legislators and citizen advocates to shepherd the Tennessee Healthy Workplace Act into law. As the only academic selected to serve on the Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR) Workplace Civility Workgroup, she helped craft the model civility policy; see Professor helps shape anti-bullying law, policy. She is a founding fellow in the U.S. Academy on Workplace Bullying, Mobbing, and Abuse.
Dr. Gilbert is a recipient of numerous university awards for online learning and teaching. She has also received the Experiential Learning Scholars Program Outstanding Faculty Award, and the State Farm Excellence professorship. Her published research on white collar crime is currently used as a case study by the Harvard Business School.
Participants can obtain both CPE credit and completion certification for attending the Civility Executive Education seminar.
