Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s Unified Command Group is coordinating with the Department of Health to provide free, voluntary COVID-19 testing for state employees at five (5) test sites across the state, beginning Thursday, June 4.
This complimentary testing is an opportunity to help employees monitor their own health and avoid the spread of COVID-19. Employees who choose to be tested may do so during the workday with supervisor approval and will not be required to use leave.

Employees can obtain a free COVID-19 test at the following on-site test locations:

Note: This voluntary test option is separate from testing that may be conducted for employees working with custodial or vulnerable populations.
Additionally, any Tennessean may receive a free COVID-19 test at their local health department (click here for locations).
Participants should receive their test results within 72 hours, depending on the test processing volume. Employees may work during the waiting period, if they are symptom-free and have not been directed to quarantine by a healthcare professional. ADDITIONAL RESOURCES
Employees who test positive for COVID-19 and cannot work from home may be eligible for Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) leave benefits or discretionary leave.
