As required by state law and Department of Human Resources Sick Leave Bank Guidelines, unless waived by the Sick Leave Bank Board of Trustees in any given calendar year, there is an annual assessment of one day of sick leave from all current members on October 1st. All SLB members in leave-accruing status must honor the annual October 1 assessment in order to remain a SLB member.
Current SLB members will have received a letter notifying you of this year’s assessment. Please review the letter carefully to understand your responsibilities.
