TEAM PAC Gubernatorial Endorsement Update

TSEA chapter presidents from across Tennessee gathered in Nashville to participate in the organization’s gubernatorial endorsement process. Three candidates attended: John Rose, Monty Fritts, and Jerri Green. Marsha Blackburn was also invited but was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict. Following the interviews, the TEAM PAC Administrative Committee, which is responsible for making endorsement decisions, voted to issue no endorsement in the gubernatorial race. As of today, that decision remains unchanged.

What that means is that TSEA members are encouraged to get out and vote for the candidate they believe will best support Tennessee’s state employees, higher education employees, and retirees. We encourage voters to carefully review each candidate’s record, positions on issues affecting state employees, and voting history before casting a ballot.
