We want to inform you that Benefits Administration has reported a potential data breach involving Partners for Health members’ protected health information. This breach occurred in February 2024 and involved unauthorized access to data processed by Change Healthcare. Change Healthcare is not a vendor or contractor of BA, but processes health insurance claims for health care providers and facilities. At this time, according to a letter from BA, Change Healthcare cannot confirm that your information was breached, and it cannot confirm that it was not. Because of this, BA encourages all members to take appropriate measures to prevent and detect any misuse of your information.

By now, you should have received the letter from Benefits Administration about the breach. Please note that this breach is not connected to TSEA, but as your association, we want to ensure you are aware of the situation and can take appropriate steps.

We encourage our members to actively monitor your credit report and accounts for any signs of fraud or identity theft. You can do this yourself or take advantage of the complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services offered in the letter from Benefits Administration.
