The University of Memphis today announced President M. David Rudd will step down in May 2022.
TSEA has enjoyed a positive working relationship with President Rudd since he became President of the University in 2014. We are grateful to President Rudd and his staff for their incredible work over the last seven years to raise the minimum wage for workers from $8.75 per hour to $15 per hour.
Thank you, President Rudd. We look forward to continuing working together in your final year and wish you well into the future.
