As we approach Thanksgiving, TSEA is thankful for all of the dedicated hard-working state employees we have in our state.
From workers driving TDOT HELP trucks and assisting stranded motorists, to State Troopers risking their own safety to protect ours.
From Technicians who provide living care for our mentally ill or intellectually disabled citizens, to Correction Officers who deal with the challenges of working in overcrowded prisons.
From Engineers who evaluate and inspect our roads and bridges, to Driver’s License Examiners who determine who is qualified to drive on those roads and bridges.
From Environmental Scientists who ensure our air and water is safe, to Building Maintenance workers who can fix just about anything.
From DCS workers who work at all hours to ensure our children’s safety, to our Computer Programmers who keep our state computer networks functioning.
To everyone who works for Tennessee, for all of the important and unique tasks you perform, TSEA says Thank You for all you do every day for Tennessee.
