The Sick Leave Bank (SLB) Board of Trustees today voted unanimously to waive this year’s annual assessment of sick leave. Members can expect to receive a written notice of the board’s decision soon. The trustees have now voted to waive the assessment two years in a row.
SLB guidelines require each member to be assessed one (1) day of sick leave each October 1st for continued membership in the bank. However, the SLB Board may waive the assessment in any year by written notice.
Sick Leave Bank members will have their membership in the Sick Leave Bank automatically renewed without this year’s assessment of one day of sick leave.
